Showing her Patriotism, this handmade felt mouse is 3" tall. She is dressed in tea-dyed Americana fabric with tiny stars and flags. Her bonnet is Navy with tea-dyed beige stars. She carries an Americana American Flag which is made of two fabrics, one striped and one the same as the bonnet fabric.

In observation of Memorial Day, the store will be closed until Tuesday, May 28th at 10 am. Please take this day and remember our fallen soldiers and their families, for they have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.

Also good for grating ginger for your soy sauce dip!

One of our customers wanted something very special for her friend's new baby boy.  She wanted it in "baby blue" and she wanted his name knitted into it.

We asked our Grammie Knitter if she could make this happen.

Our customer ordered on Friday.  The hat was completed and will be in the store on Tuesday.

Just in time for Mother's Day: Hypertufa pots handmade right here in town by a local artist. They're created from a combination of peat moss, perlite, and cement, and are surprisingly lightweight yet durable. Over time they'll attract lichens and moss, taking on a stonelike appearance. They've been planted with a mix of sedum and will overwinter nicely, to last many years. Great gift for the mom who loves gardening.

Just in time for summer This hat is made of soft cotton yarn done in variegated blue, lime and pastel turquoise. The scalloped edge of the knitted lace is done iturquoise and lime match the flower and adds to the hat's femininity.
